Bell Shoals Baptist Academy is for families who are interested in a Christ-centered education.  We offer quality caring teachers, advanced curriculum for all ages and small class sizes.  All applications are reviewed without regard to race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin. 

Application Process Overview
  • Submit completed Online Application and application fee  
  • Submit the following by uploading in the application or submitting directly to the school:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Report Card
    • Educational Testing Results, if applicable
    • Schedule Student Placement Testing
  • Scholarship Application with FAST ($41 fee) (not required)

Enrollment Fee:  A non-refundable enrollment fee of $300 will be immediately due and paid online to secure enrollment of your student.  VPK students who are using a State of Florida Voucher are exempt from paying the deposit.  The voucher must be submitted within 30 days or you will forfeit your spot in the program.

VPK Voucher:  The Florida Department of Education, Office of Early Learning provides free vouchers for families to enroll age appropriate children in VPK programs.  The Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program is a free prekindergarten program for 4-year-olds who reside in Florida and were born on or before Sept. 1 of the year they would enter the program. Parents of 4-year-olds with birthdays from Feb. 2 through Sept. 1 may postpone enrolling their child until the following year when they are 5.  To apply for the voucher you will need proof of Florida residence and proof of child's age.  VPK Voucher Application

Notification:  After your enrollment packet is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. At any time, you can re-access Online Enrollment through your ParentsWeb login to print the supplemental enrollment forms or a PDF copy of the completed enrollment packet.

Kindergarten  |  Elementary  |  Middle School

Admission at Bell Shoals Baptist Academy is based on selective criteria that include standardized test scores, prior school record, recommendations, evidence of good character, and a possible interview. The Admissions Committee will review each application and notify students of their acceptance.  All students are accepted on a trial basis during the first grading period (30 days) before placement becomes final.

Testing:  BSBA administers an entrance exam ($50 fee) to determine success in our program and academic readiness or placement for kindergarten – 8th grade.

Interview:  After the completion of the entrance exam, the Admissions Committee may require an interview with the student and at least one parent. All new middle school families will meet with the administration.
