visitors & volunteers | family | guest speakers
Bell Shoals Baptist Academy welcomes visitors and volunteers to the campus. We are pleased to have the support of volunteers to enhance the academy experience for our students.
To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all visitors to the campus who are not registered must obtain an identification badge at the Security Desk by submitting their drivers’ license.
Parents who have completed a background check will be registered into our computer security system. To visit the campus, parents must sign in at the kiosk and receive a visitor badge. Before leaving campus, please log off at the kiosk.
Bell Shoals Baptist Academy provides a strong spiritual emphasis which includes weekly worship at the Brandon Campus for kindergarten through 8th grade. Parents and friends are welcome and invited to the Chapel to worship with their children. Special services are arraigned throughout the year, with different grades leading the worship service, and special presentations. Please join us and worship together with your child.
Volunteers are urged to partner with Bell Shoals Baptist Academy through:
Prayer & Service | Classroom Activities | Reading with Students
Field Trips | Lunchroom | Library | After School Sports | Tutoring Students
BSBA Brandon Campus also has several parent groups that meet to support and serve in all areas of the school.
All volunteers who will be supervising students or driving on field trips must complete a background check form and submit with fee two weeks prior to the trip. In addition, they must be at least 21 years of age, and all drivers must be 25 years old.
Please make arrangements for younger siblings when volunteering. Dress modestly as a good example to our students who have a dress code.
Bell Shoals Baptist Academy is an exceptional school for educating your child as well as being a wonderful place to work. It is a campus with a 50-year heritage yet 21st century technology. It is a “community” made up of students, faculty, support staff, coaches, administrators, alumni, trustees and parents. BSBA seeks to recruit and retain faculty and staff who approach every aspect of their job with dedication and professionalism.
Thinking about joining our family?
Interested and qualified candidates need to complete the employment application. Upon being hired, an I-9, W-4 and Direct Deposit form will need to be submitted and you will be scheduled for a background check.
Custody of Children
On occasion there may be some custody situations that Bell Shoals Baptist Academy is not aware of. Legally, BSBA cannot keep another parent from coming to visit their child at school. If there is a threatening situation with an ex-spouse, please inform the school office and your child’s principal as soon as possible. Bell Shoals Baptist Academy requests parents not to involve the teachers in the litigation process.
